We are a group of people with physical or sensory disabilities, aged between 16 and 64. We meet each week; twice at Thorndon and once in Stowmarket. We arrange our own outings and participate in local activities. Those who wish can learn about arts and crafts, creative writing, computer skills and woodwork. Some play indoor games such as pool, carpet bowls and board games. In addition to our outings, we have an annual holiday week, a Christmas shopping day and a Christmas lunch. We endeavour to raise some funds to help ease the costs. All in all, we like to meet and chat to others, help each other with difficulties and, when possible, give support and understanding.
